    Residents leading change

We work in coalitions and through partnerships to catalyze positive community change.

TND empowers community leaders like you to transform and build better neighborhoods. We offer opportunities to learn in depth about the issues facing our neighborhoods, and provide training on how to effectively advocate for change. From neighborhood forums to research and advocacy support, we empower you to build connections with one another and fight for the changes you want to see in our community.

Our approach

Come to a block party, beautify a playground, or join a resident group meeting, and become part of a base of neighbors who care about their neighborhood. To make change, a broad solid base of community members is needed. Just by coming together, we are building relationships and power.

Together with neighbors who care about and are affected by the same issues as you, learn about solutions to challenges our community faces. Our trainings will equip you to lead community events, prepare you to serve on a committee or board, and improve your ability to advocate for better policies that shift power.

Join local and state campaigns that address root causes of inequality and inequity and promote housing, environmental, health, and social justice.

Empowering communities and uplifting
the voices of leaders is at the core of what we do.

We believe resident connections and leadership are essential for communities to realize their vision of a vibrant and welcoming place for all to call home. Community building work brings together the talents, resources and skills of the diverse members of a community, increasing their collective capacity.
