Overview

110 Ocean is in the heart of the Revere Beach neighborhood and is currently the site of 7 existing Group Living beds owned and operated by North Suffolk Community Services (NSCS). NSCS’s commitment to serving the community inspired their collaboration with The Neighborhood Developers to redevelop the site to maximize their impact by providing additional homes for those needing mental health services who can live independently.

The new 7-story building will incorporate 8 Group Living units, commercial space for NSCS to provide supportive services and classes for community members, 12 one-bedroom apartments set-aside for residents eligible for services through NSCS, and 36 two and three-bedroom apartments for families. These residents will have the opportunity to partake in the beachfront living that other market-rate residents in the neighborhood already enjoy and will benefit from a community room and a 7th-floor beach view patio.

The building is designed to meet Passive House standards and coastal flooding resiliency best practices. With innovative design, thoughtful mixed uses within the building, and deep affordability, this building positively impacts the housing and community needs of Revere.
